Spokit Terms of Use
Effective date: July 3, 2026
Service
Spokit is a language-learning app that turns typed or spoken practice prompts into phrase cards, vocabulary review items, audio playback, and spaced-repetition practice. Current v1 app behavior supports the launch language set configured in the app and backend; supported language availability may change as content is added, hidden, or retired.
Spokit uses automated systems, speech processing, and AI providers to generate practice phrases, translations, token analysis, and optional audio. Generated content may be incomplete or wrong. Spokit is not a professional translation, education, immigration, medical, legal, or safety service.
Accounts
Users may create an account with Apple Sign in with Apple, Google OAuth, or a guest flow where available. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure. Some features, such as subscription restoration or cross-device continuity, may require signing in with a stable account.
You may request or initiate Account deletion in the app from the Profile settings. Account deletion removes Spokit-owned account and learning data where the app is not legally, security, or billing-record obligated to retain it. Deleting your Spokit account does not cancel an active App Store subscription.
Subscriptions And Credits
Spokit Pro is sold through Apple as an auto-renewable subscription. Planned v1 product identifiers are spokit_pro_monthly and spokit_pro_annual, both tied to the RevenueCat entitlement pro.
Apple manages App Store billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription settings. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple account settings. A deleted Spokit account does not automatically cancel Apple billing.
Spokit Pro is a capped-credit plan, not unlimited. The planned v1 Pro allowance is 5,000 credits per subscription period. Free and starter credits are app-side usage credits; they are not cash, stored value, or a transferable balance, and they may expire or reset under the app's credit rules.
Spokit v1 has no StoreKit intro offer and no App Store free trial configured. Any starter credits are separate app-side credits and are not an Apple introductory offer.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Spokit to create, upload, or request content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, privacy-invasive, or intended to bypass safeguards. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, scrape, resell, or interfere with the app, backend, subscription systems, or AI/speech providers.
Do not submit private, sensitive, confidential, or regulated information that you do not want processed by Spokit and its service providers. Phrase prompts and speech recordings are intended for language practice, not for storing secrets or sensitive records.
User Content And AI Output
You keep ownership of the text, speech, and learning content you submit, subject to the rights needed for Spokit to operate the service. You grant Spokit permission to process, transmit, store, transform, and display that content for app functionality, including generating phrase cards, audio, token analysis, and review items.
For v1, learner-generated phrase cards are saved privately to the user's account and are not exposed through learner-facing phrase-pool sharing. Approved seed or language-pack content may use shared app infrastructure separately from learner-generated private cards.
AI output, translations, pronunciation, and explanations can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on it. Spokit may rate limit, reject, or remove content or access when needed for safety, reliability, billing, security, or policy enforcement.
Privacy
Spokit's data practices must be described in the published Privacy Policy. This draft references https://spokit.app/privacy, but local markdown files are not public HTTPS URLs and are not legal counsel approval. Publish a reviewed policy and configure https://spokit.app/privacy before App Store submission.
Intellectual Property
Spokit, including the app design, software, branding, UI, documentation, and service infrastructure, belongs to its owner or licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Spokit intellectual property to you.
Availability And Changes
Spokit may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, supported languages, prices, credits, limits, providers, or content at any time, subject to applicable law and App Store subscription rules.
Disclaimers
Spokit is provided as available and as is. To the extent permitted by law, Spokit disclaims implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The app may contain errors, downtime, inaccurate AI output, provider failures, or unavailable audio/speech features.
Limitation Of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Spokit and its owners, operators, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost savings, or service interruption.
